Rising Shopping Prices Are Going To Do Us All In
I just came back from a trip to the grocery store where nothing unusual happened, except that I couldn’t
get it out of my head that I just paid two dollars for one lousy head of lettuce. I mean, it was summer and this stuff was supposed to be in season, and therefore at, or near its lowest price of the year.
My total bill for this trip was under 60 dollars, after all I was just stopping for a few things. Then I remembered that my mother used to do an entire weeks shopping for a family of four, for under 40.
Then I realized that my ability to obtain what I needed to live was disappearing not to

Pretty soon it s going to start to really hurt. If it isn t already, that is.
Something I saw recently, or heard. I don’t know, that got me thinking and I started searching ‘netwise’
if you get my drift. Sure enough, I found something. Well I hemmed, and hawed I did the math.
I knew I was not the type who ever was interested in this kind of thing, but…
I remember when everyone shopped with coupons and trading stamps, and the prices weren t nearly

That’s when it hit me! Why did we ever stop doing this? Duh! Mom was effectively printing money. The only reason we stopped doing this is because the companies that produced these things saw that ‘we’ didn’t have any interest, who could be bothered, the prices were low enough anyway. And it cost them money to print these things. So the stamps died out, the coupons never really died. but what the hey, now we really need these

Apparently I wasn’t the only one who thought this way because in January of 2007 a company was started on the net that provides most of the advantages of the old systems that existed in the 50’s and 60’s. So now, for about 20 dollars a month you get to print coupons, for almost anything, in all your local stores, anytime you want, and as much as you want.
I, for one find it very easy to save over 200 each week on all my regular shopping costs.
Now spending 20 to save 200 thats a ten to one advantage against rising costs. I compute that to be a profitable gain. I also know some of the others in

Now you think about that the next time you host a kiddie birthday party, or relatives visit from out of town and you suddenly have to take 15 people to the theater for the afternoon, and you get to subtract 40% off the price of the tickets.
I would even take the time to paste 3 or 4 books full of trading stamps. HaH!
